My first helicopter - easy to set up - Instructions need some help for the first time builder of Helicopters -- Have had some problems with clutch - One ear broke - - Tail boom supports will cause glitches in radio if not tight - very tight - placed rubber washer between screw head and support bracket - Problem resolved - inexpensive A/C to repair -- |

My second heli , but my first that I got cosy with.
Excellent heli for me.
I've had it for ~1yr 480tanks,
currently running ~11 %nitro, 16 %coolpower blue syn 13 minutes flying per tank of hard out .
Only time I need to work on it is when I stack it. Very easy and consistant to set up after damage. Clutch has gotta be 10-14 thou total clearance otherwise it'll drag asking the carb to do what was never intended for it.
Must fit a one piece muffler and give the factory two piece to a north islander :-), run idle rich , 4-7 seconds from pinching fuel line untill idle speed increases.
upgrades I have; fan shroud extension made from laminating plastic (this gave me at least 3 clicks leaner on the main needle!) tt one piece muffler, v2 tail grips, bearings + yoke= big improvement, 1 ounce sullivan slant header tank and 3 filters, cyberheli metal grips mk2, tt metal washout base, tt39h, ks paddles makes cylic ~3 times more powerfull but pitchy in fast fff(yet to try flybar weights), I've found sab carbons mains best sofar currently I'm running ttwoodies and they go sweet as, www.heli-kraft.com for bits in 4-7 days,
I run a gy401/9253 combo and it's continuous tail first loopable
=wicked fun !! if you can get one for a sharp price go for it otherwise the v2 is currently
Combo A: Raptor 30 V2 TH4839-K21 kit + TTPRO-39H(R) engine + muffler + 49BB + 550 mm FRP glass blades and shipping included at USD 380.00 / NZ$612 !!! |
