littlerotors.com Newsletter
30th September 2001

It's been yet another busy time for me and littlerotors. First of all, I've had a large increase in the number of people signed up for the newsletter, and a dramatic increase in the number of daily hits on the site. This can mostly be attributed to the promotion of the site in Model Helicopter World and NZ Fliers World. I am very thankful to the publishers of these magazines for their support!

Once again, if you have anything interesting you would like to see published, ie a review of your machine, electronics, or even flying tips, I'd love to hear from you!

Articles this issue are:

NZ Team Returns from Heli World Champs
For the first time in many years, New Zealand had a team at the World Helicopter Championships in Muncie, Indiana. George Schneider reports on their experiences. Click here

Hirobo Freya
The Hirobo Freya is one of the hottest sixty size machines on the market at the moment, comparitively cheap and flies excellently. Anyone who has seen Todd Bennett fly can attest that the Freya is an awesome machine! Hakim Tung writes on what it's like to build and fly one of these machines. Click here

Fury-ous!
Another hot machine on the market at the moment is the Xcell Fury made by Minature Aircraft. The Fury has a simple design which incorporates CCPM. This, combined with the excellent reputation of Xcell, has produced a huge demand. Ken Kammerer decided he wanted something a little bit different from his Millennium, and brought a Fury. He shares his thoughts on this new machine with us. Click here

OS 50 Review
The OS 50 is a relatively new engine from OS. It has become hugely popular with those flying 46-50 size machines, and also those 'hotting up' some 30 size machines such as Raptors. When I went looking for more power for my Ergo 46, I found it in this engine. Click here

Next Issue:

Hirobo Sceadu
Hirobo Sceadu: Hirobo's replacement for the proven Shuttle. We hear from one of the first fliers of this machine.

JR Voyager 50
JR Voyager 50: Full review on JR's new Voyager including build information, flying characteristics and photos!
