Finally, I've got an example of one of the hottest machines to be released this year, the Synergy N9. As you'll know by now, this machine has been designed by Jason Krause and Todd Bennett and will be released on July 28th at the 3D Masters event in Britain.
I've quickly put the machine together and I'm very impressed, as this was a pre-release kit, there were a couple of little things missing which prevented me from flying it at the weekend, I have those bits now so it's maiden flights with be this coming weekend, I didn't want a little hiccup like that to delay the publishing of the long and drawn out build article though!
Is it the new King of the Hill? Will it reign supreme over the Vibe, Avant, Raptor or Stratus? Who knows? I certainly don't think it'll lag behind the competition in any way. There's a fair number of them being flown in the upcoming 3D Masters so I guess the proof will be in the pudding!
Once I've had an opportunity to fly and evalutate it further, I'll let you know what I think. In the meantime, check out the build article and develop your own opinion!
Whatever the case, this year sure is shaping up to be a good one for options on the 90 size market!
NEW AVANT AURORA
So it seems the Szabo brothers have signed up to fly the new CarbonXtreme Avant Aurora with Alan Szabo Snr becoming the Team Manager. Pretty swift and serious (and not to mention, smart) move by CarbonXtreme, that machine looks very serious and very well priced. God knows that with the Szabo boys flying it, it sure will get structurally tested well!
LAST MONTH'S NEWSLETTER
Last month I changed hosting providers for Littlerotors and as such, my emailing system for the newsletters wasn't well, proven... There's a good chance that about half of the recipients didn't actually get the newsletter, so if you didn't see it, click here.
3D MASTERS 2006 -28th – 30th JULY 2006
3D Masters is back on in nine weeks or so. One of the guys entering this year is Nigel Brown from Perth, Australia. Nigel has put in a huge effort over the last couple of years to improve his flying and it has paid off. Knowing how much effort it took to get ready for the F3C world champs last year I sympathise with everything that all the contenders are going through at the moment on their run up to 3DM. Good luck everyone!

seen as the 'holy grail' of 3D flying, people often confuse the pirouetting flip
