Glossary.
There are many confusing words and phrases associated with R/C helicopters.
Here are some of them with their explanations.
| Aerobatics |
| Aerobatics is a term used to describe stunts. I generally define aerobatics as stall turns, loops, rolls, etc and 3D for the inverted, flips, tick-tocks etc. |
| Autorotations |
| Autorotations are when the helicopter descends without engine power. Instead the blades 'autorotate' in the slipstream as the helicopter comes down. Usually you need a good amount of negative pitch to keep the head speed up. |
